PRIVACY POLICY - FenixPlay

1. IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws, we inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed by:

  • Activity: Development and management of a padel tournament organization app.

2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

  • Name and surname (optional)
  • Email address
  • Password (stored encrypted)
  • Tournament registration data (history, date, payments)
  • Payment data (through secure external platforms like Stripe)

3. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

  • Manage registration and access to the app
  • Enable tournament registration
  • Send notifications related to tournaments or app activities
  • Send commercial communications (only with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations (invoicing, taxation)

4. LEGAL BASIS

  • Contract execution (use of the app)
  • User consent (when required)
  • Legal obligation (in case of invoicing or legal requirements)

5. DATA RETENTION

Account data is retained while the user's account remains active. After a deletion request, data will be deleted within 30 days, except where legal retention obligations apply. Tax data is retained for 5 years (Spanish General Tax Law). Monitoring data is retained for a maximum of 90 days.

6. DATA SHARING

Data will not be shared with third parties except where legally required or necessary for service provision. FenixPlay uses the following data processors:

  • Stripe (payments, PCI DSS compliant)
  • Supabase (database and authentication, EU servers)
  • ImageKit (images)
  • Sentry (error monitoring, legitimate interest Art. 6.1.f GDPR)
  • Amazon SES (transactional emails)

All act as data processors under contract.

7. USER RIGHTS

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by sending an email to: support@FenixPlay.app, indicating "GDPR rights exercise" and attaching a copy of your ID or identification document.

You can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. SECURITY

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as password encryption and the use of secure servers.

9. REFUND POLICY

Tournament publishing fees are non-refundable once the tournament has been published. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. No prorated refunds are issued. In case of duplicate charges or technical errors, FenixPlay will issue a full refund within 14 business days.

In accordance with Article 103.m) of Royal Decree 1/2007 and Article 16.m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, by confirming payment you expressly consent to the immediate execution of the digital service and acknowledge the loss of your right of withdrawal.

10. POLICY CHANGES

This policy may be modified. We will inform you by email or through the app in case of substantial changes.
